El barrio de San Juan se ubica al Noreste de Colotlán, por la carretera federal que va a Zacatecas. Aproximadamente a 8 kilómetros de la cabecera municipal inicia el camino que comunica el barrio de San Juan ubicado en la comunidad de Santiago Tlaltelolco, municipio de Colotlán el cual es de terrasería, este camino cruza el río Colotlán en el Km. 0+900, durante el período de lluvias se pierde la comunicación ya que no existe puente en este cruce del río quedando todas esas familias incomunicadas.
Santiago Tlaltelolco is located just North of Colotlán Jalisco. Approximately 8 kilometers off the main road, is where Santiago is located. This is still after the fact that you have taken the 15 hour drive down South from El Paso, Texas. Once in Santiago, the river lies just seconds away. During the time of rain is when the other half of Santiago is left without a choice but to remain on the other side left without a way to cross over and seek help from the rest of the world.
